Sarcophagic | Only Death Is Real

I have been into tattoos as long as I can remember. I got my first tattoo back in 94, it was Mjolnir the hammer of Thor, got a werewolf done the next year, and in 97 I did a tattoo based on Paradise Lost logo Crown of thorns. Then I had a long break until 2004, when I started a coverup of the werewolf and to fill my left arm. The left arm is finished and at the moment my artist is working on my right sleeve in biomech/horror style. All new work on me is done by Hasse at No Fear Tattoo in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The style I like is horror… and I am a big fan of the work from artists like Paul Booth, Robert Hernandez, Victor Portugal, Bob Tyrell and Left Hand Tattoo.

I love to get my hands on a new album, put it in the stereo, follow the lyrics and be swept away… mostly metal finds it way into my stereo but some hardcore and punk can also be digested.

I have always loved zombiemovies, I don’t know what it is about zombies, but they have always fascinated me. My favourite type is the slow moving, rotten one (Romero, Fulci-type).
Alot of zombie movies have been released over the years and many sucks… but if the movie at least got some ok scenes with zombies, it is worth watching. The original Dawn of the Dead is still my favourite.

Okay, here we go.

Sitting at work and listening to Hellhammers demo collection Demon Entrails… got it delivered a couple of days ago and it is great! It is 25 years since they released them and it is nice to hear them re-mastered. A must buy if you missed them in the eighties, or if your into grim, cold groundbreaking metal.

I saw Celtic Frost last years European tour and it was one of the best gigs I have ever seen, the sound and atmosphere was total death… hope they will tour Sweden again.
