Sarcophagic | Only Death Is Real

Maiden did an amazing gig in Gothenburg at Ullevi on july 26, to see a band that has been playing metal for 30+ years that hungry on stage must be rare. Bruce voice sounded great, gone was the problem he had at the Stockholm gig.

My verdict, I can’t see that Iron Maiden can be much better than this. They get 5 out of 5 from me.

Maiden is getting closer, only three days away and I am psyched! Pre- and after-party at Trädgårn with Tyrant and Hellbutcher from Nifelheim as DJs will set me in the right mood.

And on friday, the day before the Maiden concert, Paul Di’anno is doing a gig at Trädgårn. This is a Iron Maiden weekend for sure.

Only 15 days until Maiden hits the stage in Gothenburg, got my ticket today. Last time I saw them (2005) they delivered a great show and I am sure they will not dissapoint me this time either. How could they? Check out the setlist from the gig in Italy, it speaks for itself.

The mold used in the process was made from the artist’s face by Josh Turi (special makeup effects artist), Tom Denier, Jr. (special makeup effects artist), and Eli Livingston (sculptor for, among others, HR Giger), in New York in May 2007.
