Sarcophagic | Only Death Is Real

Friday I saw “Iron Maiden. Flight 666″, and it was great to see the maiden show at the cinema, but I would have wanted longer live clips to be fully satisfied… but the finish with the whole song “Hallowed be thy name” was powerful and took me back to last years concert in Gothenburg.

Got a great birthday gift from my girlfriend today, tickets to Metaltown and a bottle of Jack Daniels. Thanks E.

It’s about two months until the Gothenburg metalfestival Metaltown starts, and so far the lineup is pretty weak. There are a few promising gigs like Opeth (played at the festival before), Meshuggah, Napalm Death and Municipal Waste. But thats about it.

One can understand that most of the money has gone to get big names like Slipknot and Marilyn Manson, but I really hope they can add more interesting names. A Swedish band like WOLF would be great (I know they are able/willing to come), or more unknown bands like Trident, In Solitude, Death Breath, Sonic Ritual, Necrophopic, Bastard Priest, Gravehammer, Agrimonia… hell the list could go on.

This evening it will be concert with Sonic Ritual, Sanctuary in Blasphemy and Gravehammer at Truckstop Alaska here in Gothenburg. I hope to hear great music and get my hands on some new vinyl and cool merch.

Better late than never, I finally picked up my order from Repulsive Records. The mini album “Come, Reap” with THE DEVIL’S BLOOD.
