The Metal God is back!Judas Priest! one of my favorite classic Heavy metal band is releasing their new album Nostradamus on June 16th in the UK/Europe.

The two songs I have listened to is very promising, especially the song Nostradamus, a song that could have been on Painkiller!! and Painkiller is Heavy metal at its best.

Take a listen, and judge for yourself at judaspriest.com.

YES!! Sweden beat Belarus in their first game in the World Championships, I am not a hockeyjunkie or what it’s called but it’s always nice to drink beer and watch Sweden win :) .

The bird with the crystal plumageWell, It was not just hockey tonight, I watched “The bird with the crystal plumage” by Dario Argento. This is a great old school thriller and I can’t even remember that I have seen it before…

I did a great find at the local video rental store (Yes, I still rent movies) some days ago, a collection of nine Dario Argento movies at a reasonable price. It was along time since I saw any of his movies and it will be nice to go through them again.

If you want to know more about Dario Argento’s work check out http://www.darkdreams.org/.

USB TurntableOn my last birthday I got a USB Turntable from my girlfriend, and it’s great to be able to digitalise all my old vinyl records, but it takes time… well, not that long, just the time it takes to play the record. I have done a couple of albums, but most of the time I just use it to listen to my old vinyl records.

Ugly guy holding ugly coverOne of the first records I tested it on was the superb None Shall Defy by Infernäl Mäjesty, and this monstrous album is still great 20 years after its release.

The Warrior and me after Celtic Frost gig in GothenburgTom G. Fischer’s departure from Celtic Frost is a big loss, I had my hopes that another strong Celtic Frost album would be on its way… but that will NOT happen, this seems to be the end.

But after reading The Warriors blog I feel a little better, this is a quote from his blog
I saw “Monotheist” as only the first of hopefully several distincive albums by this group. I thus plan on continuing exactly in the artistic vein of Celtic Frost. I had very a distinct vision of what the next two Celtic Frost albums might consist of, and I intend to eventually fulfill this vision and complete these albums with a new group.
